"Utsmyckat" ("Adorned") 2026

This year’s summer exhibition, is a collaborative project involving 12 local heritage museums, showcasing the vibrant decorations and ornamental traditions of Ostrobothnia.

At Brage, the exhibition features beautiful Björkö furniture in the Björkö Room, mirrors, textiles and other decorative details in the Bridal Room, as well as Björkö cabinet and textiles in the Hay-barn. Together, these objects highlight the Ostrobothnian tradition of colour, form and decoration.
