Activities and events at Brage open air museum

Harvest market on September 15th from 12 am – 3 pm

Autumn harvest market at the Brage open-air museum. Handmade crafts and harvest produce along with coffee and sausage for sale. Welcome!

If you wish to sell at the market, please contact info@vasabrage.fi or 0440127166 by 7.9. A sales spot costs €15. If you don't have your own table, a table with a canopy can be rented for €20. Registration by September 7 at the latest.

Childrens day on June 30th at 11 am – 3 pm!

Come and enjoy a summery outdoor day for the whole family on Tuesday June 30th from 11 AM to 3 PM at Brage Open-Air Museum in Hietalahti. There will be animals from Aava Kertun kotitila, and stations for the children with painting, giant soap bubbles, and more. The activities are available throughout the day from 11 AM to 3 PM.

On the grounds, you’ll find sausages, cotton candy and freshly baked jam donuts. In the Cottage and Fishermans lodge, our delicious Brage waffles are served with coffee or juice. Payment by cash or card. Cash payments are preferred in the outdoor area.

Free entry – a warm welcome to all!

Open house on May-day (1.5) at 12 pm – 3 pm!

In the main building, our guides share stories about the museum and life in the 1800s.
Try on a traditional cap and take a photo if you like! (There are hats for gentlemen as well.)
Folk dance performance at 1:30 PM in the yard with Korsholms folkdanslag and fiddler Kalle Berg.
In the cottage, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of mead – and don’t miss the chance to taste our delicious Brage waffles.
